Stephen Strasburg Rookie Cards

Stephen Strasburg dominates the Ginnett Braves in his triple-A debut.

Stephen Strasburg made his Triple-A pitching debut last night for the Syracuse Chiefs, an affiliate of the Washington Nationals. And the young Phenom pitched "lights out" baseball as he and the Chiefs beat the Gwinnett Braves by a score of 7-0.

Stephen Strasburg pitched 6 innings, giving up only one hit. He struck out six batters and gave up zero earned runs. He also helped himself out with an RBI single in the second inning. This kid with the golden arm threw 65 pitches and he topped out at 99 MPH. Simply put, Stephen Strasburg is ready for the Major Leagues. But the Washington Nationals will not call up the super-rookie until some time in June. They want him to pitch 100 innings in his rookie campaign. Meantime, the Stephen Strasburg 2010 Bowman rookie card is set to hit the market on May 12, 2010. That's the scheduled release of 2010 Bowman baseball card cases.
